Description
Bowleaze Cove is just east Weymouth on the Dorset coast. It is a sand and pebble beach resort, approximately one kilometre wide, backed by cliffs. The River Jordan flows across the beach to the sea.

Marine Engineer Joe
Bowleaze Cove is a favourite family happy place. Early mornings here are bliss for beach yoga and provides a good swim route from the pier down to Oasis Café, with plenty of marker bouyage to aim at and judge distance. Waves can reach around 8ft with high winds due to the sloping nature of the sea bed, but it is also very calm, safe and tranquil in the light morning breezes. Plenty of other swimmers and dippers here for the social and just a lovely sight to see so many safe swim tow bouys 😊
