Description

Booby's Bay is on the north coast of Cornwall, approximately 1 kilometre south of Trevose Head. It is a rural beach that is approximately 470 metres wide. The beach has extensive rocky outcrops with many rock pools exposed at low tide. A large shipwreck can also become exposed on this beach, particularly following storms. There are no streams entering the bathing water directly. The bathing water lies within the Trevose Head and Constantine Bay Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and the Padstow Bay and Surrounds Marine Conservation Zone.

Gorgeous spot and very natural. Must visit at low tide and unless you walk around Constantine’s north point at low tide, expect to scramble down. Some gorgeous marine life, jelly fish, crabs alike. The pools are more for dipping than swimming but absolutely beautiful!
