Morg
A lovely sheltered area, with a gradual slope into deeper waters. A mix of stones and sand on the beach and a slipway from street level to the sea for kayak/paddle board/wheelchair access. Small rock pools on a receding tide with a range of wildlife living in them. Unfortunately due to being in the harbour there is a lot of plastic pollution.

This is a lovely small beach leading out into the harbour / marina at Portland. The water depth varies but is not so deep that it is not possible to stand up in most of the area. A helpful ramp leads down from the side of the castle to the beach for those who are less agile. Because of its sheltered nature the water is often warmer than the surrounding area .
