I got duck mites and had a reaction to them. I was covered head to toe and itched so much for 3 days - it was awful! Sad because the spot it lovely.

Poor customer service, absolutely riddled with duck mites and very shallow. Owners have done very little to improve the situation. Last time I swam there I came back with 80 bites. Shame, because the facilities are very good and it is very good in Winter.

About

This is a 200m lake set in beautiful surroundings in Bicester. The lake has a depth of 1.8metres and is 25 metres wide. This venue uses NOWCA’s safety software system scanning swimmers in and out of the water and has lifeguards there for every session. They have wetsuits to hire if needed.
