Description

Sloped bank so can walk in to the mill pond. Can be quite cold. Parking on the side of the road and nice grassy area along the river to sit with a cuppa after or bask in the sun in warmer days. Lots if local swim groups go here so will often see other swimmers as well as families splashing around particularly in better weather.

Getting There

Just over the bridge in to Bawburgh, can park on the side of the road.

Accessibility

Fairly easy to step down from the bank into the river which is shallow and gradually slopes down to rhe Mill. May get a bit slippery with mud on the bank when getting in and out. The river bed is stoney so best to go in with something to protect the feet.
