Description
Check out this spot in Idra. Great spot for kayaking, canoeing and supping. Idra (also spelled Hydra) is a small Greek island located in the Aegean Sea, in the Saronic Gulf. The island is largely mountainous, with steep hillsides covered in cypress and pine trees. The town of Idra is built in a crescent shape around a natural bay, and features narrow winding streets, white-washed buildings, and traditional tavernas and shops. There are no cars on the island, with transportation limited to donkeys and water taxis. The scenery around Idra is stunning, with crystal-clear waters and rocky cliffs, horseshoe-shaped bays, and small pebble beaches. The island is known for its traditional architecture, peaceful atmosphere, and beautiful natural surroundings.
