A fantastic spot and I came early but gets busy later in the day with queues to enter due to the variety of activities on offer. Parking is chargeable after 3 hours. A fantastic breakfast in the cafe.

This is local to me so it’s my go to place. Can get busy when the suns out and the schools are off. You share the lake with SUPs and Kayaks. Food, drink and toilets available on site. Book online for guaranteed entry. I have been at times and have had the whole lake to myself. Just love these days - it’s approx 900m if you swim close the shore. Easy entry and it’s a gentle slope from nothing to about 2m deep.

Local to me so it’s my go to place. Can get busy when the schools are off and sun is shining. You have to share the lake with kayaks and SUPs. I’ve been lots of times when it’s just me - these are the best times of all. Food, drink and toilets available on site. Book on line at busy times to guarantee entry.
