Lovely place to go with grass and long beach of stones and sand. Brilliant for swimming and the water is clean and so fresh with the Pentlands hills surrounding it. Great for the kids too. Lots of kayaking, Paddle boarders and Dinghy users too. Very peaceful place to go.

Such a scenic place for a swim, whether it be a short dip or open water. If the levels are low you need to choose your spot as the spot nearest the car park is about 2ft deep in mud if water is low!

Great spot, short walk from the car(loads of parking). Lovely place to swim with beautiful views. Surrounding area is great for walks with lots of paths(although can be hilly).

Some easy access areas with not too many stones. Gradual depth change. Nice swim!

A popular place on the outskirts of Edinburgh to swim. It has become increasingly popular over the years and is well worth a visit.

A really popular place to not only swim but paddle board as well. There is a car park close by (it can get busy at weekends) and recently some toilets have been added.....Well worth a visit
