Description
Praia do Cagalhão is a pleasant beach break with sandy bottom. It's about 20 meters long and 100 meters wide. It's a somewhat shallow swim. Family friendly and dog friendly. Gets very crowded in the summer as it is near popular spots and is very small beach. Be careful of the rip current towards south if you swim in the ocean's direction .
Getting There
There is a large parking lot nearby (Parque das Gaivotas) and a small parking spot near the popular cafe "JET 7.5"
Accessibility
It's very easy to access the water, however you have to be careful swimming in the ocean's direction as there is a strong current pulling you to the south (in the direction of the river)
