Description

Lovely quiet beach sitting inside a quaint fishing harbour. The beach developed after breakwaters were introduced to the harbour in the 19th century. Collieston sits inside a natural harbour, and it’s protected by the harbour wall and therefore very sheltered and the water calm.

We often swim at Collieston. The water is clean and you get the shelter from the harbour wall. In the right conditions it feels safe. It gets very busy on sunny days.
